Traditional Oriental Incense Sticks Natural Scented Fragrance
The materials in the incense sticks are taken from the four ancient trees of "pure, strange and weird" in Situ Temple, Guangfu, Suzhou, Jiangsu. The two thousand-year-old cypress trees are "pure, strange, ancient and weird" and have been rooted in Guangfu, on the shore of Taihu Lake in the south of the Yangtze River since the Western Han Dynasty. Every year when the cypress seeds are ripe, they follow the ancient ritual: tie a red rope to the branches of the ancient cypress, burn incense, and pay tribute to nature. This is the survival wisdom passed down from generation to generation by the people in the south of the Yangtze River. They regard the prosperity and decline of plants and trees as a reverence for the community of life and are grateful for the gift of time.
Following the "rubbing incense method" recorded in "Xiangcheng": dry the cypress seeds and grind them a hundred times, sieve them seven times, and then follow the ancient method of "taking flowers in spring, leaves in summer, seeds in autumn, and wood in winter", and blend with the herbs in the south of the Yangtze River in season, condensing into seven kinds of fireworks charms: [Green Plum] [Golden Osmanthus] [Azalea] [Daisy] [Blue Lotus] [Jasmine] [Black Orchid]. Every wisp of fragrance precipitates the cultural roots of the south of the Yangtze River, and tells seven kinds of civilization memories unique to this land in the curling smoke.
