Qi Qiulan was born into a family of Suzhou embroidery clothing. She began learning embroidery and traditional clothing making skills from her mother at the age of four. Deeply influenced by her family elders, she has dedicated her life to the inheritance and development of China's silk industry, and has taken it as her responsibility to promote Chinese weaving and embroidery culture.
As the inheritor of the time-honored "Xiuniang Silk" brand, she is not only a representative inheritor of the Chinese silk clothing craft, a national intangible cultural heritage project, but has also received the National Silk Industry Lifetime Achievement Award. She serves as an ambassador for the promotion of China's textile intangible cultural heritage, actively promoting traditional Chinese weaving and embroidery to a wider audience.
She has been named a National March 8th Red Banner Bearer and a Master Craftsman in the Jiangsu Province Textile Industry. She also serves as Vice President of the Suzhou Women Entrepreneurs Association, wielding extensive influence within the industry. In her hands, every stitch carries not only the warmth of her craftsmanship but also the depth of her culture. She is an outstanding representative of the preservation and innovation of contemporary Chinese textile intangible cultural heritage, deeply moved by the beauty of silk and committed to the art of weaving and embroidery.
戚秋兰出生于苏绣服饰世家，自四岁起便跟随母亲学习刺绣与传统服装制作技艺，深受家族长辈熏陶，一生致力于中国丝绸产业的传承与发展，以弘扬中华织绣文化为己任。
作为老字号“绣娘丝绸”品牌的传承人，她不仅是国家级非遗项目——中国丝绸服饰工艺的代表性传承人，还荣获全国茧丝绸行业终身成就奖，并担任中国纺织非遗推广大使，积极推动中国传统织绣走向更广阔的舞台。
她曾被评为全国三八红旗手、江苏省纺织行业大工匠，同时担任苏州市女企业家协会副会长，在行业中具有广泛影响力。在她手中，一针一线不仅承载着技艺的温度，更传递着文化的厚度，她是当代中国纺织非遗保护与创新的杰出代表，为丝绸之美而感动，也为织绣艺术而坚守。
